Safety during training is our top priority! Our gym is equipped with martial arts mats and gear (helmets, vests are provided for free).

Taekwondo stands out from other martial arts as combat is executed in defense, minimizing the risk of injuries.

Classes are conducted in small groups (up to 15 people).

The training program for each group is tailored to individual characteristics, physical abilities, and the presence or absence of experience for each student.

TOURNAMENT ACTIVITY
(for beginners and experienced fighters)

Athletes from the Sports Club "IKIGAI" consistently secure over 100 podium finishes annually across competitions of varying difficulty levels. On average, the team participates in 10-12 tournaments for both sparring and poomsae.

Competing with both electronic and traditional judging systems, athletes engage in tournaments showcasing their skills.

With the opening of a branch in Georgia, we will initiate sparring training sessions and organize local tournaments.

Among the nurtured talents of the Sports Club "IKIGAI," there are medalists from international competitions.

BELT EXAMINATIONS

Twice a year, Sports Club "IKIGAI" conducts belt examinations. The exams are evaluated by instructors with a minimum rank of 2nd dan in WTF Taekwondo.

Black belt examinations adhere to the standards of the KUKKIWON Dan Promotion Test.

The journey to a black belt in the club typically takes an average of 5 years.

FAMILY TRIPS
MOUNTAIN EXPEDITION

The club has embraced the tradition of organizing uncomplicated MOUNTAIN EXPEDITIONS for students and active parents. These outings are led by a professional guide with a medical background. In the vicinity of Batumi, we plan to arrange straightforward trekking routes.

Since 2013, our team has been arranging family-oriented sports day outings, incorporating not only Taekwondo training but also hosting workshops in disciplines such as Wushu, Qigong, Capoeira, Hapkido, body percussion, painting, cupping massage, and visceral therapy.

After 3 months of training in the "IKIGAI" section, your child:

Will become physically stronger.

Regular training helps develop the muscular system, increase endurance, and strengthen the immune system.
Will improve flexibility and posture.

In 9 months of consistent training, a student masters the splits. Each session includes stretching elements to strengthen the abdominal and back muscles.
Will master striking techniques.

60% of the training process is dedicated to developing punches and kicks, learning to deliver precise, focused strikes, and applying techniques in sparring.
Will become more confident in themselves

Mastering combat skills fosters leadership and teaches teamwork, which in turn boosts self-esteem and popularity among peers.

We do not set limitations based on the students' levels. Everyone can reach the black belt, some faster, others slower. However, ensuring correct technique, following a training plan that considers individual characteristics, staying in communication with the athlete's family, monitoring safety and the student's health – these are necessities in any sport.
